Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? She's 167cm (5' 4") tall and slim with long legs.
2. How old is she? Twenty
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She generally stands pretty straight.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? She is very fit and keeps herself in shape with her martial arts.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Pretty fluid usually.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Very attractive physically. Long dark hair, long legs, and a large chest. Her Bust-Waist-Hips measurements are 92-60-88 cm (36-24-35 in inches), an almost perfect hourglass figure. She doesn't mind much how she looks.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? She is light-skinned. My headcanon says that she has a scar from her upper left chest to her lower right chest from the Nibelheim Incident.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Long, straight and dark (generally seen as dark brown but also as black), with short bangs over the right side of her face and most of the rest of it tied low to form 'dolphin-tail' split tip.
9. What color are her eyes? Officially red, but also seen sometimes as a rich brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Not particularly.
11. What are her chief tension centers? Huh? Um, maybe her back, I guess?
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Fairly casual and plain, mostly neutrals with some red.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? They fit very well and she makes sure to be comfortable in what she wears, as well as practical.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Generally yes. Any other clothes she might wear would be simple and not restrict her movement.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Erm, pretty normal for a twenty-year-old woman I suppose? I'm really not quite sure how to describe it. You can listen to her talking here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=OLkoG91Nhxg&NR=1
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Evenly, usually a little bit on the soft side. She usually talks quite easily and confidently.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? She does have a few 'country' mannerisms that sneak through occasionally.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Just English, and very well.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? No.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Generally alright with impromptu, though it likely depends on the subject.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? She's a good speaker. She doesn't use lots of big or fancy words, she speaks simply and straightforwardly.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? Decently smart, my headcanon is she got average to good grades at school. Her best subjects were music and math. She has gained a lot of street-smarts living in the Midgar slums for around five years as well.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She can do both. She'll deliberate if she can, but if a tough situation she's usually good on her feet.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? I think probably more intuitive and practical.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Went to school in her village until she was fifteen.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? She is an excellent martial artist, and would be up for learning new styles/techniques. She is also a good bar hostess. She also learnt to play the piano when she was young, but hasn't had much practice lately.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? More of an introvert, I think. She is more open with her friends, and doesn't mind talking with strangers, but is very protective of her more important thoughts and feelings.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? She is generally even-tempered and tries to be optimistic.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Generally pretty relaxed and usually interested, but she can get suspicious if something seems off.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? React. She won't start anything unless she severely provoked.
10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Fight if she's confident.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Her sense of humour is alright. She'll laugh at other people's jokes, and sometimes make her own, usually just teasing. She prefers clean humour though.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Probably suffered from some PTSD after her village was destroyed.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Her mother's death, the destruction of her village, and her fight and journey to help save her world.
14. What does she fear? I think she fears losing the people she cares about most.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations? Probably to be able to live some semblance of a safe, normal life.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? Not sure atm.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. As an only child her relationship with her parents was close. She was utterly devastated when her mother died when she was only eight years old. She was then raised by her father who was somewhat overprotective, but very loving and caring. He was murdered when Tifa was fifteen, leaving her heartbroken and vengeful.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? No siblings.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? No other known blood relatives.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? I believe she considers AVANLANCE and her companions to be her new family. Yuffie and Marlene are like sisters, Cid and Barret like uncles, etc.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? When she was a child she was popular in the village and had many friends, but now the only other person left from Nibelheim is Cloud. I wouldn't say they're best friends, but their shared past has brought them a lot closer.
6. Does she have other close friends? She became very good friends with Aerith in the short time they were together, but that sadly came to an end. She is close with the rest of AVALANCHE.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She generally makes friends pretty easily, although you'll have to be patient to learn any of her inner secrets.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? She highly values both, however, she has no family left.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single.
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? No.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? Cloud
12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Someone intelligent and kind, keeps promises, not egotistical or proud. Someone who treats her as an equal and who she can rely on just as much as they rely on her.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? No, but I think she would like some in the future.
14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? She has a grudge against ShinRa, although she's starting to realise not everyone there agreed with what it was doing. She really doesn't like Scarlet, though.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Heterosexual.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? To her it is something that should be shared only with someone she really loves and trusts, something private and personal.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Not sure atm.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac or choice) sign? How well does she fit type? 3 May - Taurus. 1987 - Rabbit.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? It's not touched on in canon. I think perhaps she may have been as a child, but had some questions/doubts after the terrible things that happened to her. I like to think she is slowly returning to her religion (whatever that is in her world. Aerith has a church, but for what?)
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Not sure atm.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Tolerant unless they involve hurting others or are particularly extreme.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? Initially suspicious of anyone connected to ShinRa, due to them being responsible for the destruction of her home.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Generally in the slums I would think she was just scraping by.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? Lower-middle class. She grew up in a very small village, but lived in a decent sized two-story house. When she lived in Midgar, it was in the slums of Sector 7.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? Previously living in the slums. I can see her living in a small, clean apartment, either alone or with one or two close friends.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? For herself, very little. Maybe some new clothes here, a new vase there, but not much. She wouldn't mind spending a little money on her friends though.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? She's a bar hostess. She's pretty good, both at mixing drinks and evicting drunk patrons. She likes it mostly for being able to talk to people.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? She learnt the piano when she was young, but doesn't get much time to play anymore. She also used to keep a diary, and tries to write down things that have happened to her. She also practices her martial arts fairly regularly.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? She generally eats pretty healthily, but she also likes her unhealthy snacks occasionally. She eats out only for special occasions. Her favourite foods are cherries. She'll drink occasionally, but never to get drunk.
